StoryBird - Just Keep trying

I am excited to use storybird in my classroom. I think it will be a great first step in the writing process. I think back to this last year when I was a teacher assistant in a 1st through 3rd grade cluster classroom and we took four sequence cards which was just four pictures telling the story. Where we had our students write a sentence for each picture. We had them practice reading their books and then they read them for our class program. They all did an amazing job! It was so cool to watch my students be able to read, even more so when reading is something that is really hard for most of them. I think having students write something with pictures already chosen is a great way to boost there self-confidence. As well as helping them know they can read. Because they wrote the book they are going to know what it stays.

Here is my example of pictures already chosen that I wrote words too.
